litter picking

Still in France, I saw this trolley about to pick up some waste paper and so tried to take the opportunity to engage with it to ask about French attitudes towards the environment. My French is limited however, and I couldn't get anywhere. In fact I was ignored. How rude.

After my previous encounter I was glad to see this trolley doing its bit for the environment, albeit in Paris and not the UK. Perhaps the trolleys in France are simply more conscious of their responsibilities to the society they live in?
